Happened yesterday, March 16, 2017, in Bronx, New York, USA at just after 7 p.m. The victim is 44-year-old Yadira Arroyo, who'd been with the New York Fire Department for 14 years. The perpetrator has been identified as 25-year-old Jose Gonzalez, a Bloods gang member with 31 prior arrests. The video was recorded by 20-year-old Justin Lopez. Arroyo had stopped the ambulance when someone told her there was a man riding on the back bumper. When she got out, he ran around and jumped in and took off, running her over and dragging her a short distance. Gonzalez hit a few parked cars, then got the ambulance stuck on a snow bank. A passing K9 officer with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority stopped and subdued the suspect. A crowd helped keep him there. Another EMT was in the passenger seat at the time. She's the woman you hear sobbing in the video. She was treated for shock. Ms. Arroyo was the mother of five children.
